Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") supplements the ChronoForge Terms of Service and describes the rules for acceptable and prohibited use of the ChronoForge platform (the "Service"), operated by Launchpad Developers, Inc. ("Launchpad"). By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP.

2. Permitted Uses

ChronoForge is designed to help organizations track employee time, manage projects, and generate reports. You may use the Service for:

• Recording and managing time entries for employees and contractors within your organization
• Creating and managing projects, clients, and tasks for billing or internal tracking purposes
• Generating time and project reports for payroll, invoicing, or operational purposes
• Managing user accounts within your organization's subscription

3. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Service to engage in any of the following activities:

Illegal Activity

• Violating any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation
• Submitting fraudulent time records for financial gain
• Engaging in any activity that constitutes wage theft or labor law violations

Harm to Others

• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users of the Service
• Impersonating another person or organization
• Collecting personal information about other users without their consent

System Integrity

• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, its servers, or its infrastructure
• Uploading, transmitting, or distributing any malware, viruses, spyware, or other malicious code
• Performing denial-of-service attacks or attempting to overload Service infrastructure
• Using automated tools to scrape, crawl, or bulk-export data from the Service without written authorization
• Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Probing or testing the security of the Service without prior written permission (see our Security Policy for responsible disclosure)

Commercial Misuse

• Using the Service to develop, market, or operate a product or service that directly competes with ChronoForge
• Reselling or sublicensing access to the Service without written authorization from Launchpad
• Circumventing subscription seat limits or other plan restrictions

Automation and AI

• Using bots, scripts, or automated agents to interact with the Service in ways not expressly permitted by Launchpad
• Training machine learning models on Service data or outputs without prior written authorization
• Submitting automated or synthetic time entries at a volume or pattern inconsistent with legitimate human use
• Using the Service API in excess of documented rate limits or for purposes outside its intended scope

Data Misuse

• Storing personal data of individuals unrelated to your Organization's legitimate time-tracking activities
• Using the Service as a general-purpose database or file store outside its intended purpose
• Entering sensitive personal data (such as government IDs, financial account numbers, or health records) into free-text fields not designed for such data
• Attempting to read, copy, or modify data belonging to another Organization

4. Content Standards

Any content you submit to the Service (including project names, task descriptions, and time entry notes) must not:

• Contain defamatory, obscene, offensive, or discriminatory material
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Include sensitive personal data of third parties without appropriate consent

5. Enforcement

Launchpad reserves the right to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP. If we determine that a violation has occurred or is reasonably suspected, we may take any of the following actions at our sole discretion, without prior notice:

• Issue a warning to the account holder
• Immediately suspend or restrict access to the Service for one or more Users or the entire Organization
• Remove or delete content or data that violates this AUP
• Permanently terminate the account and all associated data without refund
• Report the activity to law enforcement, regulatory bodies, or other appropriate authorities
• Pursue civil or legal remedies available under applicable law

Enforcement actions under this AUP are consistent with and in addition to the suspension and termination rights described in the Terms of Service. We reserve the right to act immediately and without notice where necessary to protect the integrity, security, or availability of the Service or the safety of other Users.

6. Reporting Violations

If you believe someone is using ChronoForge in violation of this policy, please report it to us at hello@launchpaddevs.com. Include as much detail as possible, including the nature of the violation and any relevant evidence.
